Humanities project reflection

In humanities we are learning about us history and civics. I am just going to say it the project failed. I do think the idea was good, but not everyone pulled their weight. The project we originally decided to do, was to learn about  different  forms of government. Then make your own country and governmental system, but in the end  we just  all learned about a different form of government and tried to work together to make a fake  constitution for a fake island. For this project I worked with Bri. We studded Absolute monarchy. In the beginning we thought we were going to learn about all kinds of monarchy, because in absolute the king or queen decides everything, but alex decided he want to do constitutional monarchy. Choosing absolute was a bad decision on our part , because our answer was always the king or queen. After we had been working on this project for a few weeks and had been having a couple of discussion. I talked with Rob out side and told him that I didn’t think that I had learned
anything really  from this project our anything about the other forms of government, because I thought that part of discussing with everyone was so we could learn about their form of government. I told rob I did not think i had learned anything.  When we started this project Bri and I had told rob that we had some concern  about whether or not  people would  pulled their weight and that at the beginning of this project we told everyone that if one person did not to anything it was going to impacted the rest us , We needed everyone to make the project work. So rob told be to pick another form of government to study. Bri and I picked Communism. I found Communism  very iterating because we had just finished watching animal farm. So in the end i did enjoy looking Communism up, but i am a little disappointed in the lack of work that I think everyone including me at some points put in to this project.


 I defiantly think that we shouldn’t work has a whole group for a little wail till we can be sure that everyone pulls their weight.  I this project could probably have been better if we had been a little better with the planing.I don’t think I want to another project like this one soon. I really think it is better to do projects in smaller groups. I think some time in the future it would be good to  do another full group project, but not now
