Women Suffrage Reflection
For my humanities project. I learned about women suffrage in the United States. I worked with Brianna. For our project we disced to do jeopardy ”Women in Jeopardy”. I really enjoyed working with brianna. We have worked on project together before and they all work out well. I think that we balance each other out well even though we are a little crazy we still get stuff done. One of the resends I thought that our project was success is that bri and i are really patience about the topic we had. In the beginning we thought that we were going to do a series of short video interviews, but I really wanted to do something a little more creative. So I came up with the idea of doing a game show. I thought this would be a fun way to do an interactive project. We found a jeopardy templet from the internet, so we used that, because although it is not impossible we thought it would be more productive to just find an already made templet. We had four columns women in media, women it politics, and two columns on women suffrage. What we would do to find the questioned is first we did a lot of research then we came up with a question. I would put it in the game and bri would write a paragraph about it.. I thought that we did a really good job planning even though there where some hard points, like we looked everywhere for the jeopardy buzzers, but we could not find them anywhere. On December 3, we played the game.
We thought that if we only had 3 people up at a time playing it would not be as fun, because if people had no idea what any of the answers for the questions then i think it would be sort of boring. So we played team jeopardy. We thought it would keep the flow better, but i am not so sure. We had three teams the blue team Jon,Tobin, and Max the red anthony and tati, and the green team David tatso and sofia. Everyone seemed to be really excited about doing it, but there where some times where every one got to be a little hard to deal with. I think some of that could have been our fault, but it was hard to get everyone attention like we picked the last period of the day so everyone was a bit crazy .
If i were to every do a game show again. I would definitely talk to my contestants before the show to see if they have any questions. I really enjoyed doing this project I thought it was great. I fell i learned a lot about women suffrage and I think it is an imported topic to share with people, because some time I know that even I forget how fare women have come and that it was not always the way it has been. I think that my project really got me thinking about that. I would probably do another project like this. I really enjoyed this project.
