To kill a mocking bird by Harper Lee
To kill a mocking bird by Harper lee is a modern classic known all over the world. When I started this book all I could think about was that it is three hundred and seventy six pages with really small text. My mom, Dad and charlie kept telling me that it is a really good book and once you get started I would enjoy it, and they were right. To kill a mocking bird is so long and has so much going on at once that it would be almost impossible to talk about every little thing in the book if I did it would take forever to right. A short couple of sentences about the book. It is about scout and jem growing up in the small southern town of Macomb with their father Atticus and the troubles and adventurers with Boo radley, tom Robinson and many others. My two favorite parts of the book was the court seen and the end. In The court seen Tom Robinson is on trail for Raping Mr. Ewells daughter and atticus his lawyer is trying to prove that he is innocent. I loved how he comes up with all these ways to show the jury that Tom Robinson is innocent. Like when he makes Mr. Ewell right his name trying to prove that he punched his daughter in the eye, because she had a black eye and it was her right eye. Mrs Ewells is left handed and you usally punch across . I also really enjoyed the ending I thought it was a good way to finish off the book. Over all I loved this book it really shows you how different It was back then.
